but thing is, it wasn't a clean break. uh huh, like all breakups this had baggage - in the form of $165. oh yes, it always comes down to the money doesn't it.
so now the problem is, my mum doesn't want to "transfer the money" to her bank account. and why should she? it's not her fault. she wants the ex to call her up and arrange to get the money. but apparently this is very hard to do.
so she:
1) came to my house and told my sister, this is what your mother owes me.
2) post a letter (hand delivered in a prudential envelope if you may) to my house
and now, i'm not gonna tell my mother, because i have seen how angry my mother gets when the ex provokes. i'm sorry but the ex is very bitchy and childish. so i am just going to pay her, just to forget about the whole thing. but since it's $165, i'm gonna spill the content in her letter just a little. makes me feel better you know.
first, she hands back my sister's homework and draws huge crosses over her work, and gives comments like "be original, don't be a copycat", and "don't waste my pen ink, don't copy from text". uh huh, very matured i know. i understand it's not very good, but really? such words?
then, she goes on to say that she has now found a family (very detailed family profile thank you), and is "getting $800 a month". well, uh, congrats?
and for a tuition teacher, her english leaves much to be desired. she spelled 'thought', then canceled and wrote 'taught' on top. i mean if it was me, i'd re-write it you know.
she goes on to question my family's financial situation, and informs that the government is giving out $200 at the end of this month so, "payup and you will still get $35 back".
and finally, she tells my mum to teach me some manners (because i called to tell her off once), and wants to "forget about (my) family". (really? after all we've been through?)
i mean, is this woman serious? she's like in her thirties and she says things like that. oh my god, and i taught thought she was okay.
