catching up

spent the evening out with sok yee.. haha had a great time catching up. remembering the past, that's always nice. she's in perth now, studying to be a vet! haha i told her to join 'the joyous vet' when she comes back. but she says it's too far =(

nothing better than waking up in a foreign land with someone i love. i want to start the day with breakfast at a coffeshop just round the corner of the guesthouse, then walk around aimlessly, taking in the sights and sounds. i want to marvel at beautiful things, relax on a scenic boat ride, eat the most awful meal and just laugh it off, ride a bike through the countryside, sit on the beach and take in the sunset, have a nice dinner by the sea, and end the night full of passion.

oh my God. i know some people think i'm mad and crazy to go india, BUT I DON'T CARE! the thought of it makes me so happy.. people find their escape in eating shopping, i find mine in waking up in a totally foreign land and taking in the sights and sounds. the more unlike singapore it is, the more i like. so there! don't judge me until you've tried it.

family 

well for one, it's happy birthday to my dearest grandma on the 26th this month! i love her so much!

friends

dan moved to a new condo (temporarily!) and it rocks! i love his room and the view! it's so bright and cheery (albiet a little small). but i bet it feels good to wake up to that view!

yihao is being confined again this weekend because it's his outfield. we're close friends and i always look forward to weekends when everyone's together and have lots of fun. well, this weekend it'll be one yihao and one daniel less.

oh i forgot, dan's enlisting this friday!! so sad.. they grow up so fast! lol.

shonia and alvin.. we were supposed to go watch dark knight today but.. haha guess what happened?

felicia also was supposed to come, but fell sick. are you ok?!?!

dog

javier's getting a little naughty but he has learnt how to:

currently trying to teach him (while keeping BP in check):

found out that he loves taking tissue papers out of the box, escaping from his cage and has an unhealthy (though definitely non-sexual!) relationship with the dolls.

though i gotta admit when they finally met after all those years i was a little paranoid about what was going to happen, but the ending is very sweet no worries.

this clinic rocks ok. javier has his own patient card, a file they issue you to keep track of your previous reciepts, vaccination certs, etc. and the vet, dr. ng is so friendly!! very cool place, highly recommended!

javier got his 3rd vaccination jab today! i brought him to the vet alone, and i must say he behaved fairly well! but very excited when he saw the staff and vet.

she's going to turkey for 2 months, leaving this weekend.

we'll miss u! see u thur for our last dinner before your trip! just now was kinda fun.. but i wished u felt better. it's ok though, everyone goes through a rough patch or two sometime in life, and i just want you to know we're here for you. take care when you're over there, and be sure to have lots and lots of fun!

happy birthday roy!

it's roy's 22 today! happy birthday buddy!

met up with roy, char and kah yan yesterday for dinner and movie.. caught 21. pretty excited, but turned out, wasn't that great. kinda draggy and not so smart.

then was about to send kah yan home when i switched to stefanie sun's cd and she had that sudden urge to sing ktv! and we went! i love these sudden decisions haha and so does kah yan. only 2 songs in those kinda ktv pubs where there are no rooms, and you just sing to everyone else in there. so scary but fun!

so we ended up drinking a bit then we talked really long. wow, i think that was one of our longest conversations ever. then roy joined us (again) and we ended up going home at 4.30!
